Two versions of a show at Emo’s in Austin from the Vice tour with Death From Above 1979 and Vietnam. I believe this was during SXSW which even though festivals drag me down I really like. You just run around, see a bunch of bands you would never see, and for a socially awkward guy like me you can run into people you know and because you are running one way and they are running the other, you can just have that first minute of excited conversation of “Hey brother. Haven’t seen you in forever. How’s tour?” and then get rid of the 10 minutes of awkward talk after. It’s heaven.
The shows blur together here because you end up playing multiple shows and as much as you can in the 3 days. So you can end up playing 4-10 times. I think we played 4 or 5 on this one. Either way sure this show was fine. Outside at Emo’s. And I think Beans introduced us.
